The Tibet Museum – India

Members of the Asian Regional Sites of Conscience Network meet with the Dalai Lama during their 2019 annual meeting held at the Tibet Museum.

The mission of the Tibet Museum is to inform the public about the Chinese occupation of Tibet, to provide personal accounts of lives lost in Tibet since the occupation, and to raise awareness of the continuous and ongoing abuses carried out by the Chinese government against the Tibetan people.

It also aims to share with Tibetans-in-exile the values of democracy, human rights, environmental protection, and freedom, as well as to strengthen the Tibetan spirit and collective pride through presentations on Tibet’s rich history and culture.
