The War Childhood Museum, winner of the 2018 Council of Europe Museum Prize, is dedicated to providing people with an outlet to share objects and memories of their childhood experiences in armed conflict. It enhances mutual understanding through creating a space for people to share their stories and encounter the experiences of others.

The Museum seeks to present childhoods affected by an armed conflict as complex and multi-layered while, at the same time, highlighting the strength and resilience of children.
