Memory and Knowledge for Studies aims to preserve the collective memory of victims and amplify alternative, suppressed voices and narratives of conflict and post-conflict societies in hopeful anticipation of the moment of justice and legal remedies. They work to establish the concepts of accessibility and documentation as critical concepts for societies in political transition, and engage relevant platforms and concerned parties in this process, in an attempt to create a database that forms an initial nucleus that researchers and stakeholders can later use, develop and build on.  In these activities, they aim to combat the policy of impunity in Egypt.
