Sara Murphy

Sara Murphy is the Director of Development at the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience. She earned an MA in Arts Administration from the Teachers College at Columbia University and a BA from Marymount Manhattan College. After years working with artists at The Zipper Factory, Canal Park Playhouse, Studio 42, and other prominent organizations, she began consulting for non-profits through growth periods with strategic fundraising and communication plans. Her clients included Arts in the Armed Forces, The City Reliquary Museum, Gerard & Kelly and more. After five years leading her own consulting firm, Sara served as the Director of Development at George Jackson Academy, a school for bright, low-income boys.
