Become part of a growing world-wide network of organizations and individuals dedicated to helping historic sites inspire social consciousness and action.
Memberships are renewable on an annual basis, one year from the date you join. Membership applications, including information on membership dues, can be accessed through our online form, or by downloading the available PDF forms below. Institutional Member
Open to any organization interested in the work of the Coalition. Benefits include:
- Eligibility to apply for direct grant support
- Eligibility to apply for accreditation and for staff exchange
- Eligibility to participate in biannual conference and other learning exchanges
- Quarterly e-newsletter
- Eligibility to be featured in article in e-newsletter
- Listed and linked on the International Coalition web site
- Discounted admission to Accredited Sites of Conscience
- Access to the Online Resource Center, a forum where registered members of the Coalition can participate in discussions with their peers and access Sites of Conscience program examples, evaluation models and other resources. (Free registration required.)

Individual Member
Open to anyone interested in the Coalition. Benefits include:
- Bi-monthly e-newsletter
- Eligibility to participate in learning exchanges
- Discounted admission to Accredited Sites of Conscience
- Access to the Online Resource Center, a forum where registered members of the Coalition can participate in discussions with their peers and access Sites of Conscience program examples, evaluation models and other resources. (Free registration required.)

Accredited Site of Conscience
Accredited Sites of Conscience set the standard for Sites of Conscience worldwide, and are the focus of Coalition activities. Accredited Sites of Conscience must meet all Sites of Conscience criteria, and commit to participating in learning exchanges. Accredited Sites receive all Institutional Member benefits, PLUS:
- Eligibility to apply for staff exchanges/consultants and project support
- Dedicated area on Coalition web site
- Eligibility to establish and lead regional network
- Coalition membership marker
- May use Coalition logo
- May use support letter signed by Coalition in fundraising
All sites that intend to apply to become Accredited Sites must first join as Institutional Members. To apply to become an Accredited Site of Conscience, Institutional Members should contact coalition@sitesofconscience.org.
