We help historic sites, museums and initiatives develop programs that facilitate dialogue around difficult histories and their legacies in communities today. Many resources, like Project Support Funds, learning exchanges, and dialogue development assistance, are available exclusively to our members. Other resources, like program models, case studies, and publications, are available to all on our website.

Forum
The International Coalition of Sites of Conscience’s Online Resource Center is a registered members-only website that offers participants the opportunity to share information, exchange ideas, explore current issues, ask questions and access all the Coalition’s resources.
Program and Evaluation Models
Our program designs help visitors draw connections between the past and the present, using the stories of what happened at a site to inspire new conversation and action about its legacies. Project Support Fund
The Coalition’s Sites of Conscience Project Support Fund provides both financial and technical support for member sites to develop projects that use their histories to open dialogue on a pressing concern facing their communities today. Learn how to develop a program or participate in a learning exchange.
Regional Networks
Members build local groups of Sites of Conscience who collaborate to remember similar histories and address common contemporary issues. Our current Regional Networks are:
- African Sites of Conscience: Using Histories of Citizen Action to Develop Post-Colonial and Post-Conflict Democracies
- Asian Sites of Conscience: Promoting Cultures of Peace and Pluralism in the Wake of Ethnic and Religious Conflict
- European Sites of Conscience: Promoting Cultures of Tolerance and Democratic Values by Addressing Xenophobia and Exclusion
- Immigration Sites of Conscience: Building an Anti-Totalitarian Culture
- Indian Boarding and Residential Schools Sites of Conscience Confronting Diverse Legacies of the Past
- Russian Sites of Conscience: Stimulating Conversation on Immigration and Related Issues
- Latin American Sites of Conscience: Promoting Debate through the Construction of Memory of the Recent Past
