About the Guantánamo Public Memory Project
The Guantánamo Public Memory Project was launched in June 2009 by the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience. As of September 1, 2011, the Project is being coordinated by the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University, steered by a leadership committee of partners including the International Coalition.
