Internships

Interns are integral to the work of the Secretariat of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience. Interns gain hands-on experience in the fields of human rights, museology, and program management, and exposure to the methodologies and practices of Sites of Conscience. Internships are based in New York and typically last for 4 months, although a shorter or longer period may be possible. Interns participate in an array of activities including research (internet, library and telephone), program administration, and communications. Working knowledge of Spanish, French, or Russian is preferred. Internships are unpaid. However, students are often able to arrange academic credit. Students should check with their individual academic institutions for requirements.
